Privacy Policy

When you use the Morocco Guide mobile application, we may collect minimal data necessary to deliver app functionality:

• Device location data: Approximate or precise GPS location, accessed when using the interactive map to calculate turn-by-turn directions.
• Search & preference queries: City or category filters, and AI questionnaire selections used to generate custom itineraries.
• Saved favorites & trip plans: User-created itineraries and saved destinations, stored locally or synced securely with our database.

Our app integrates the Google Maps SDK to display interactive map markers, place coordinates, and directions. Location access is requested strictly while using map features and is never tracked in the background without your explicit permission.

All application data sent between your device and our servers is encrypted using standard TLS/HTTPS protocol. Data stored in our database (Supabase) is protected with row-level security and access controls.

We rely on a short list of trusted providers to power key features:

• Google Maps Platform: Map rendering, geocoding, and directions.
• Supabase: Cloud database for city, place, hotel, and itinerary storage.
• AI provider APIs (Gemini / OpenAI): Powers trip generation. No personally identifiable information is transmitted in AI prompts.
